Readyup Corp. presents
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ReadyUp (the "Service") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our Discord bot.
1. Information We Collect
Account, Library & Session Data
When you link an account, sync your games, or set up a game night, the following data may be stored:
- Linked Account Identifiers: Your SteamID or profile URL, Xbox gamertag, PlayStation online ID, and Battle.net account name. ReadyUp never asks for or stores your platform passwords.
- Game & Library Details: Your synced game libraries and playtime, platform ownership, Steam wishlist and any sale-price targets, and games you add manually.
- Session & Voting Details: The LFG sessions you create or join (game, time, player cap, and notes), RSVPs and rosters, votes you cast, and recurring schedules.
- User and Timestamp Information: Your Discord user ID (displayed as a mention) and the time entries were created.
Guild and Settings Data
We store server-specific settings (such as display, permission, and LFG options), your notification and privacy preferences, and minimal usage statistics (guild IDs, timestamps) for operational purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
Service Functionality
Your data is used solely to enable the functionalities of ReadyUp, such as comparing owned games, displaying libraries and wishlists, running votes, posting and reminding you about game nights, and maintaining server and personal settings.
External API Integration
To sync accounts and build game info cards, the bot sends requests to external platform APIs — including Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Battle.net — to retrieve your libraries, wishlists, and game metadata. These requests are handled in accordance with each platform's privacy policies.
Data Storage
All information is stored on our server and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Limited Sharing
ReadyUp does not share your personal data (such as your Discord ID, linked identifiers, or game libraries) with third parties except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
Visibility Within Your Server
Some data is visible to other members by design — for example, games you own can appear in /common comparisons and /whohas results. Per-user privacy toggles in /myreadyup control whether other members can browse your full library and wishlist.
Third-Party Services
When ReadyUp queries external platform APIs (Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Battle.net), any data exchanged is governed by their respective privacy policies. We do not control how these services manage data.
4. Data Security and Retention
Security Measures
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data.
Data Retention
Your linked accounts, synced libraries, and settings are retained for as long as you (or your server) use the Service. You may unlink accounts, or remove or modify your entries, at any time using the bot's commands.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Access and Correction
You can view, update, unlink, or remove your data — such as linked accounts, manual games, wishlists, and sessions — using the available commands (/myreadyup, /manualgame, /lfg manage).
Consent and Changes
By using ReadyUp, you consent to this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date.
6. EEA & UK Users (GDPR)
Data Controller
ReadyUp is operated by the ReadyUp developer, who acts as the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us using the contact details in Section 9.
Lawful Basis for Processing
We process your data on the basis of your consent — given when you link an account or add data through the bot — and our legitimate interest in operating and maintaining the Service. You may withdraw your consent at any time by unlinking your accounts and removing your data with the bot's commands.
Your Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, object to, and restrict the processing of your personal data.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Most of these rights can be exercised directly in Discord: use /myreadyup to view, correct, or delete your linked accounts and preferences, /manualgame to manage manual entries, and /lfg manage to manage your sessions. For anything these commands don't cover — including a formal access, portability, or full-erasure request — contact us using the details in Section 9.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
We do not sell or share your personal information. California residents may request access to, or deletion of, their personal data using the bot's self-service commands or the contact details in Section 9.
8. Children
ReadyUp is not directed to children under 13. Consistent with Discord's Terms of Service, you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service.
9. How to Contact Us
For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described above, email us at support@kernelpanicstudios.net, or reach us on the ReadyUp Discord support server.
